Our Team
Isabel (Izzy) Zahalsky is an IB Candidate at North Broward Preparatory School in Coconut Creek, Florida. Concerned over how to share medical information in an emergency situation, such as a patient short of breath with COVID-19, Izzy and her brother Ethan came up with the idea for Patient QR. Izzy has been the lead on seeing her idea come to fruition and continues to manage the roll out of the app. Izzy is currently working on integrating Patient QR with local doctors offices and hospitals while applying to attend college next fall.
Ethan Zahalsky is a student at North Broward Preparatory School in Coconut Creek, Florida. Together with Izzy, Ethan was instrumental in the initial design of Patient QR. Ethan has an interest in computer science, engineering, and app design and therefore has taken the lead on app design for Patient QR.
